Dec 2010 ... Christmas Concert ... Derrek



This year Derrek took Chorus and has had several opportunities to sing. Several months ago some of the boys sang acapella at a young mens fireside and at a missionary homecoming. Makes a momma mighty proud!



Band of Brothers ... Oct 2010 ... Qtr finals ... way to go team ... on to the Semi's now ...

Boys of Fall ... Oct 2010 ... Our team also took the Region Champs for the 40th time ... Way to go boys and Coach White!

 This is the Apache Den...our new favorite color became BLUE...After they finished their flag, they presented to the whole pack...Way to go Apache!!!

 

For the opening luncheon, each den leaader decorated their den's table as a WELCOME to AKELA COUNCIL 26.

 It was fun to watch a football game being played inside.  The field was a lot smaller...players alot closer...competitions and fun things for the crowd for entertainment!

If you look down further on our post...this is the same mascot that Bobbette had her picture with during the 4th of July parade! Crazy...

While at the game, our section was given an ice cream creamy! They were yummy...I think Tim must have had some on his nose he was trying to get off!

4th of July celebration...2010

Grandpa and Grandma Bennett spent the 4th of July with our family.  We all had a good time as we were waiting for Derrek to come down the parade route.  All we knew was that they were throwing water balloons.  At least Grandpa and Grandma were protected!  Tim had the cooler loaded with...none else...than Mountain Dew!  We just have to also say...HAPPY BIRTHDAY to KALAM on his mission!!!  We love ya Bud...
