Didn't really know we would have boys who are multi talented!
When our high school drill was heading for State, boys from the 9-12th grade were volunteered to dance! This is now the second son we have who has done this. Makes a parent wonder if we went wrong somewhere?! Just kidding...it's all for fun and I really thought the freshman and sophmore boys dance was better than the Junior and Seniors. They danced to Michael Jackson's "Beat It". Tim is the one on the end on the right side. Way to dance Tim!

Weekly news from Kalam
The last email we sent to Kalam was about our dog of 11 years passing on. Kalam was 8 yrs old when we got him as a puppy. Here is what Kalam said in his email. "That's sad to hear about Biggs. I had a feeing that he was going to go while I was out here. But I didn't think it was going to be that quick. It just goes to show that we never know when it is our time to go so we need to do as it says in the scriptures and to prepare to meet God now and don't wait." He says that everything is going good, but the snow. They have had to stay inside for a couple of days. Good time to study. They received their transfers, but he is staying in the same area with the same companion. Thanks for the love and support you have all shown to Kalam. He wanted to let everyone know that he appreciates it.

Family loss...We love you Biggs!
Today...this afternoon...we lost Biggs our boxer dog. We were able to have many fun memories of him for the last 11 years. He died of basically old age. He was going blind and had arthritis in his hips. When we found him, he was in his kennel outside and laying down facing the west. In our backyard, we have the perfect view to watching the sunset. We love Biggs and the joy he has brought to our family. May he now enjoy his freedom from pain in his new life.
Tim at the Jr High State Wrestles!
This last weekend Tim competed at the Jr High State Wrestles. There were about 16 boys in his bracket. Only two were 2A and the others were all 3A. He won 2 and lost 2. He was beat out...but did very well this year. His record for the season is 23 wins and 7 losses. He has become quite the wrestler and loves it. This weekend he is supporting the Millard Eagle Wrestlers at Region in Richfield. Go EAGLES!!!
Out 6 months today!

The email we received from Kalam was pretty awesome! He is doing great and teaching a lot of people and finding those who want to know more about the gospel. He says, "It's cool to see the changes in their lives and how much happier they are." We are seeing changes in Kalam as we read his emails. It snowed about 8 inches where he is and he says that the schools were shut down. They are suspose to get a bigger snow storm this weekend. They don't have snow plows, so the roads get really bad. He says to say HI to everyone and that he appreciates all that you do for him. We are so very proud of him!
